Alix Turoff

Alix Turoff is currently studying Nutrition and Media Culture and Communications at New York University and plans to get her RD degree upon finishing her Bachelor’s. Growing up between Brooklyn and Long Island, NY, Alix developed a passion for horses and loves to spend her free time riding. She also has a love of fashion and her idea of a perfect day is spending time rummaging through the racks at Beacon’s Closet in Williamsburg, her favorite thrift store, or American Apparel. Alix starts every day with a Skinny Vanilla Misto from Starbucks and a sweat session at Equinox which usually consists of some cardio, a boot camp or sculpt class, Pilates or her favorite “Inten-sati” which is a killer workout as well as a spiritual experience. You can also find her at Yoga to the People sweating out toxins in a bikram yoga class or at the MOMA finding inspiration for her next painting.
